2 lever mortice sashlocks are used primarily on internal doors, which only require a low security privacy function. They must be used with sprung lever or knob furniture to withdraw latch bolt. If higher security is required e.g. external or perimeter doors we suggest a BS 5 lever mortice lock be installed.
